A staff writer for the Argus-Courier since 2000, Yovanna is a graduate of Sonoma Valley High School and earned a degree in communication studies from Sonoma State University in 2000. Yovanna worked as a writer, page designer and entertainment editor for SSU’s student newspaper, The Star, and served an internship at the Sonoma County Independent, now The Bohemian. Originally from the South Bay, Yovanna has lived in Sonoma County since 1989 and became a Petaluma resident in 2010.
