The venerable Hotel Petaluma has been sold for $6.1 million to a Marin County developer.
The four-story landmark in Petalumas historic downtown includes 104 residential units and about 14,000 square feet of ground floor retail and office space. The buildings residential units have about 90 percent occupancy.
Built in 1923, the Hotel Petaluma is a steel frame and concrete building at the corner of Washington and Kentucky streets.
The seller was Hotel Petaluma LLC. The buyer was Robert Miller, who has purchased and restored historic buildings in Petaluma, Santa Rosa and other North Bay cities.
Miller said he will restore the buildings facade and reconfigure some of the retail space. He plans no changes to the residential operation.
