Power restored to most of North Coast

<p>Two customers remained out of power Monday, after this weekend’s strong winds blew power out to thousands of PG&E users in the North Coast.</p><p>The customers still in the dark are in the Russian River area on Martinelli Road. They’ve been out since 4:15 p.m. Saturday when falling limbs downed power lines, said Jana Schuering, PG&E spokeswoman.</p><p>They were due to be back on by mid Monday afternoon, she said. Repair work required a three-person crew to fix three stands of downed wire, as well as a tree to be removed.</p><p>More than 3,200 PG&E customers in Sonoma and Mendocino counties remained without power Sunday afternoon. That number dropped to about 750 homes and businesses by Sunday evening. </p><p>Wind gusts up to 60 mph were reported along the coast. The weather for the next several days is supposed to remain dry with no significant wind.</p>
