Detectives investigate apparent homicide

Sonoma County sheriff’s detectives on Sunday were investigating an apparent homicide in the parking lot south of Jenner.

State parks department rangers alerted the sheriff’s department about 1:15 a.m. of a body found in a parking area near Blind Beach.

Details about the victim or circumstances were unavailable Sunday morning.

Sheriff’s detectives are conducting the investigation.

Further details were expected to be available later Sunday.
