Motorcycle catches fire in Rohnert Park

Damage to exterior of Camino Coronado home

Residents of a home on Camino Coronado near Rancho Cotate High School in Rohnert Park have some rebuilding to do after a burning motorcycle in their side yard ignited their home, fire dispatchers said.

Friday’s 11:44 a.m. fire blackened the side of the gray house, blowing out several windows and leaving random chunks of insulation and other debris in the area of the fire.

It was not immediately clear whether they’d have to move from the house near Callecita.

The family’s names and additional details were not immediately available.
