Another day, another record price.
The average price for a gallon of gasoline inched up a penny overnight in Santa Rosa to $3.61 on Thursday. That’s 55 cents more than a year ago and 44 cents more than a month ago.
California’s average price Thursday was the highest in the nation at $3.60, with Chico’s $3.54 the cheapest and San Francisco’s $3.74 the highest in the state’s metropolitan areas.
For Santa Rosa’s lowest price, gasbuddy.com reported that the Santa Rosa Costco and Arco station at Hearn and Corby avenues were offering regular at $3.41.
