Candelight vigils for crime victims

<p>The Sonoma County District Attorney's office is sponsoring candlelight vigils as part of National Crime Victims' Rights Week, which honors victims of violent crime.</p><p>The vigils will be at 6 p.m. tonight at Depot Park in Santa Rosa and Walnut Park in Petaluma on Wednesday.</p><p>At the hour-long ceremony, the names of about 30 victims of assaults, elder abuse and drunken drivers will be read aloud.</p><p>There will be speeches by District Attorney Stephen Passalaqua and representatives from United Against Sexual Assault, Redwood Childrens Center and YWCA.</p><p>-- Bob Norberg</p>
