Realtors to disclose spraying
Last Modified: Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at 4:58 a.m.
Marin County real estate agents plan to discuss with future home buyers the state's plans to spray pesticides to combat the spread of the light brown apple moth.
The Marin Association of Realtors voted Tuesday to amend their disclosure advisory forms to inform future buyers about a likely aerial campaign to combat the invasive pest this summer.
The agents will also advise home buyers to consult a doctor for more information about the spraying campaign before closing a deal.
Some attorneys believe disclosure is wise to ward off potential lawsuits.
