Wayne Reavis became a robbery victim after using an Internet classified forum. It's only fitting that police relied on the World Wide Web to nab a suspect in the case.

Rohnert Park police arrested a man they believe is shown on a YouTube video entering Reavis' home and then fleeing, presumably with cash and expensive cell phones.

Henry Gill, 18, is being held at Sonoma County Jail and will appear in court Friday to face robbery and probation violation charges.

Police believe Gill is the man shown in a home surveillance video entering the Rohnert Park residence on the pretense of buying a $475 iPhone advertised by Reavis online at Craigslist.

Reavis was robbed of an iPhone, two other high-end cell phones and $450 in cash at his Arlen Drive home on May 21.

The suspect agreed to buy the phone, pulled out his wallet and asked Reavis if he had change. He then hit Reavis on the head, knocking him to the ground, Sgt. Art Sweeney said.

A home surveillance camera over the front door caught images of the suspect arriving and then fleeing. Sgt. John Marty said that tape, posted to the video-sharing Web site YouTube, provided the leads that led to the arrest.

"After people saw the video, they called in," he said. "It provided some very viable leads."

Police are still processing fingerprints.

Gill was arrested at his Sebastopol home Wednesday morning. He is scheduled to appear in court Friday morning and is being held on no bail.
