SSU student is Miss Wine Country Rodeo

Nicole Bottini of Santa Rosa, a 19-year-old Sonoma State University student, is this year’s Sonoma County Fair rodeo queen.

Nicole Bottini, 19, of Santa Rosa was named Miss Wine Country Rodeo at the Sonoma County Fair. Bottini just completed her freshman year at Sonoma State University.

As the 2008 Miss Wine Country Rodeo, she will preside over the annual PRCA Rodeo Saturday and Sunday at the fairgrounds.
Bottini is knowledgable about both the fair and rodeo.
She was a member of the Petaluma FFA Dairy Judging Team for four years and showed market lambs for eight years.
She is also a 10-year member of the Petaluma Junior Riding Club, which took first place in the Grand National Grand Champion Color Guard competition.
