Santa Rosa transportation officials will host a public meeting Wednesday to unveil plans for a bicycle boulevard along most of Humboldt Street.

The meeting, which runs from 6 to 8 p.m., will be held at the Odd Fellows Hall, 545 Pacific Avenue off Mendocino Avenue.

The event will allow planners to describe design options that would allow motorists and cyclists to share the road safely and conveniently.

Public input also will be taken during part of the meeting.

The bicycle boulevard would run from Lewis Road to Fifth Street, as proposed in the city’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan, officials said.
