Robyn Bramhall, a human resources management consultant, has launched NorthBayHR.com. The site and consultancy are designed to support companies and non-profit organizations throughout the Bay Area that want to improve workforce productivity and satisfaction. Bramhall, based in Sonoma County, has served clients throughout the Bay Area since 2006 in areas such as strategic staffing and development, executive search, policy updates, performance reviews and compensation.

Craig Van Selow has joined Exchange Bank as executive vice president, responsible for retail banking, marketing, product development, and merchant services. Prior to joining Exchange, Van Selow was the president and chief executive officer of Mt. Diablo National Bank, one of the banks comprising Greater Bay Bancorp.
Sebastopol-based Solar Works has hired Lisa Richie as marketing manager. Richie has years of experience in the solar industry and has a background in promotions and media.
Lisa Loundagin Sheppard has joined Steven Heath and Associates as a buyers agent. The Santa Rosa native has been in the mortgage and real estate industry for more than 15 years in Sonoma County.
Jim Ford of Cotati was recently named a California State University Alumni Advocate of the Year for his consistent service and commitment to Sonoma State University and the CSU system. Since 1993, Ford has been a principal of The Fifth Resource. The company promotes sustainable development through good business practices and employment advocacy, using industrial engineering tools to develop business and facilities plans.
Curtis Kind has joined the Cloverdale office of Frank Howard Allen Realtors, the Wine Country Group. Kind brings a background in architecture and engineering to his real estate consulting.
Quivira Vineyards & Winery has hired Nancy Bailey as general manager and director of marketing. Bailey brings to her position extensive marketing and brand-management experience. Prior to joining Quivira, Bailey was a freelance marketing consultant for a number of Sonoma County wineries.
The law firm of Shapiro, Galvin, Shapiro, Piasta and Moran has changed its name to Shapiro, Galvin, Shapiro and Moran. The firm was started by Everett Shapiro in 1968 and has been in practice in the areas of business transactions and formation, personal injury, employment counseling and litigation, civil litigation, construction, wills and trusts, probate and trust litigation, and elder abuse litigation.
Sonoma Academy, which recently moved to its new, permanent campus at the base of Taylor Mountain in southeast Santa Rosa, has announced the hiring of six faculty members for the 2008-2009 academic year. Joining the world languages faculty will be Steven Gauntt and Nancy Dohertry. Gauntt will be a Spanish instructor and Dohertry will teach French. Lisa Zavieh and Wade Nasholds have accepted positions with the math-science faculty. Katherine Crowley will join the humanities faculty. Margaret Pugh has accepted a position as a part-time learning strategist and educational support coordinator.
Teknovus announced the promotion of co-founder and vice president of engineering Ed Boyd to chief technology officer, and the hiring of senior executive Dave Malloy as vice president of engineering. Malloy's career spans more than 25 years in executive engineering positions with successful Silicon Valley communication companies.
David L. Mitchel joined HMS Travel Group as director of group sales. For 13 years, Mitchel owned Wine and Dine Tours, a Napa Valley destination-management company. He originally came to the Napa Valley in 1984 as a chef at Auberge du Soleil, where he worked under the tutelage of Masataka Kobayashi.
