Age: 54

Hometown: Rohnert Park

Occupation: Attorney

Background: Rohnert Park City Council member (2004 - present); former member of the Rohnert Park Planning Commission

Priorities:

1. Fiscal responsibility. Make sure we have a work force that is fairly compensated, together with sufficient revenues that allow us to balance the budget and provide services residents deserve. Measure L is the biggest immediate challenge facing us.

2. Cost-effective, environmentally friendly services. The new City Hall is an example of being cost-effective, yet sensitive to the needs of residents. Oct. 11 we will celebrate completion of City Hall, where consolidated services will be available.

3. Economic development. Appreciate existing businesses while trying to attract new ones that will provide good jobs. I regularly visit businesses to find out what's going well and what can be improved upon.
