Solution: Seek voter support to raise the bed tax on hotel rooms, renegotiate contracts with city employees "to get back some benefits and pay" and temporarily reduce financial reserve levels.

NEIGHBORHOODS

Problem: Often consulted too late in the planning process when a new development in their area is proposed.

Solution: Have city notify citizens earlier.

TRAFFIC

Problem: Too many people reliant on cars.

Solution: Push for SMART train and expand alternative transportation sources in city, including bike lanes.
