53° CLOUDY, Woman, 63, found dead in condo

A 63-year-old woman who was found dead in her Santa Rosa condominium last weekend was stabbed multiple times, authorities said Monday.
Police identified the woman as Constance Elizabeth LaSalle but provided few other details on the circumstances of her death.
LaSalle’s body was found Saturday night, covered in blankets, in her downstairs condominium in the 300 block of Stony Point Road.
LaSalle lived alone, and neighbors had become increasingly worried about her when they hadn’t seen her for several days and noticed her cat was not cared for and her car was missing.
A neighbor discovered the body after entering LaSalle’s home through an unlocked door.
Police said there were no signs of forced entry, and several neighbors said they did not believe it was a random act of violence.
The Westgate Condominium complex, north of West Third Street, has about 100 units, and according to neighbors, is usually crime-free.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Santa Rosa Police Department investigators at 543-3590.

"Quiet and crime free" is not how I would describe that area. Also, another resident said they'd "never had anything like this" happen in the 31 years she'd been there. I used to live there and I know for a fact that statement is false. Look up the name "Jonathan Townsend" and you'll see what I mean.

While I respect the opinion of the nieghbor who says it's "quiet and crime free", I think their comment suggests they don't get out much. Southwest Santa Rosa is, largely, a gang infested headed toward slum status area.
Plenty of crime there.

They Should check her son, He is a wacked out drugy from what i here. There was no break in, so he seems the next logical choice wouldn't you think?

yea its a bad area but instead of pointing the finger what can we do to fix that area because blaming people isnt going to solve anything.
