The Golden State Warriors open their exhibition schedule today on the road against the New Orleans Hornets.
The game starts at 4 p.m. and will not be on television or radio in the Bay Area.
Warriors coach Don Nelson announced Saturday that his starting lineup for today's game will be C.J. Watson at point guard, Stephen Jackson at shooting guard, Corey Maggette at small forward, Al Harrington at power forward and Andris Biedrins at center.
The starters aren't expected to play significant minutes, as Nelson will give more playing time to some of the team's younger players, such as Brandan Wright, Marco Bellineli and 2008 first-round draft pick Anthony Randolph.
The game is one of two on today's schedule as the NBA preseason gets under way.
The Warriors will play six exhibition games, including two in China on October 15 and 17 against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Golden State opens the 2008-09 regular season at home against the New Orleans Hornets on Wednesday, Oct. 29.
