Dilithium expands India design facility

<p>Petaluma's Dilithium Networks, which makes software for delivering video over wireless and broadband networks, is expanding its design center in Noida, India, near Delhi.</p><p>The new facility has 70 employees and could double its work force in the future, said Dilithium spokesman Mitch Lewis.</p><p>India is a fast-growing market for Dilithium, which generates about 90 percent of its sales outside the United States. The India facility does software development, testing, integration and support.</p><p>"We're expanding our India Design Center to keep pace with the rapidly growing customer demand for our solutions and to take advantage of the large and highly educated technical base available in India," said Paul Zuber, Dilithium's CEO.</p><p>Dilithium also has facilities in London, Beijing and Singapore. The 7-year-old company has about 75 employees at its headquarters in Petaluma.</p><p>-- Steve Hart</p>
