A lengthy investigation into suspected drug sales by two Petaluma residents ended Monday with their arrest and a find of 24 guns and drugs for sale, police reported.
Kelly Newlin and Donald Austin were taken to Sonoma County Jail after their arrest Monday afternoon, said Sgt. Jason Lechleiter.
Detectives searched a Liberty Lane home Monday and found the two dozen guns, including some believed to be stolen, said Lechleiter.
They also found two ounces of cocaine and ¾ of a pound of methamphetamines.
The investigation was conducted by police detectives and street crimes detectives.
A police dog helped with Monday’s search.
