A big rig was partially blocking Highway 175 in Hopland on Thursday morning after its trailer slid off the road and into a ditch, the CHP said.

Authorities expected it would be about 7:30 a.m. before a tow truck arrived on the scene.

The wreckage was located just east of the Hopland Rancheria’s Sho-Ka-Wah Casino, outside the tiny Mendocino County town on Highway 101.
