Staff and customers at an adult store in south Santa Rosa were robbed at gunpoint late Thursday night, the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Department said.

Open until the wee hours, the Santa Rosa Adult Superstore had several customers inside when two men came in about 11:30 p.m. and ordered everyone to lie on the floor, authorities said.

The robbers, who had at least one handgun between them, took the money from the cash register and cleaned out at least one shopper’s wallet before fleeing on foot, sheriff’s Lt. Scott Dunn said.
