Gary Umholtz is a new senior loan consultant for RPM Mortgage in Sonoma. Umholtz is a member of both the California Association of Mortgage Brokers and the National Association of Mortgage Brokers, the Sonoma Valley Executives Association, Sonoma Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Mentoring Alliance.

Catherine Deeths has received the Certified Residential Specialist designation from the Council of Residential Specialists, a nonprofit affiliate of the National Association of Realtors. Deeths is a sales associate with Artisan Sotheby's International Realty, in Santa Rosa.

Jennifer Wiseman is a new aesthetician at Wine Country Day Spa in Santa Rosa. Wiseman is a Santa Rosa Junior College graduate and studied at Santa Rosa Beauty College and the Dermatologica Institute in San Francisco.

K&L Construction Company, Inc., received the Diamond Certified recognition for customer satisfaction from the American Ratings Corporation based on a 12-step certification process. Petaluma-based K&L Construction is a general contractor founded in 1984.

Skipstone Ranch has received organic certification for its vineyards from the California Certified Organic Farmers. Gaining certification requires a minimum three years farming without pesticides, herbicides and chemical fertilizers. Skipstone Ranch is a 200-acre operation in Geyserville with vineyards and olive trees.

Peter Dijkstra has been named vice president of global sales for Tegal Corporation. Dijkstra has worked more than 25 years in the semiconductor capital equipment field and was worldwide sales and customer support director for Alcatel Micro Machining Systems before taking the Tegal post. Petaluma-based Tegal designs and manufactures plasma etch and deposition systems for integrated circuits and nanotechnology devices.

Exchange Bank has been certified as a green business by the Sonoma Green Business Program. The bank worked with Calpine, PG&E and the Small Business Energy Alliance to put energy efficient lighting in each branch, and with Sonoma County Water Agency and city of Santa Rosa installed low-flow toilets and faucets and improved irrigation systems.

Patrick McNeany is the new vice president and general manager for the Printer Doctor, a division of Structured Business Systems, of Santa Rosa. The Printer Doctor provides printer and copier service and document management to businesses in Sonoma, Napa and Marin Counties.

IC&C Telemanagement has moved into the Structured Business Systems office building in Santa Rosa and will offer its telecom services to Structured Business Systems customers. IC&C provides VoIP technology, helping companies merge computer and phone lines to reduce telecommunication costs and also offers SIP trunking technology.

Sonoma County Grange Credit Union won a first place in the national Desjardins Youth Financial Education Awards. The Santa Rosa-based credit union, which received a state level award two years ago, was established in 1948.

The Volunteer Center of Sonoma County has named Wayne Mitchell director of marketing and resource development and Jim Bray community services director. Mitchell previously led fund-raising for the Laguna de Santa Rosa Foundation, Assistance Dog Institute, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and the Chabot Space & Science Center. Bray has worked for the Super Urban Area Security Initiative and the American Red Cross.

DobleThomas & Associates is consolidating offices in Windsor, Cloverdale and Guerneville and a Windsor store into its new corporate headquarters in Healdsburg. The Ukiah office will remain open. Founded in 1970, DobleThomas & Associates provides land surveying, urban planning, civil engineering, aerial photography and photogrammetric mapping services in Northern California.
