Man killed with lamp

<p>A Monte Rio man found dead at his hillside home was beaten to death with a lamp, Sonoma County sheriff's officials said Tuesday.</p><p>An autopsy showed the dead man had blunt force trauma to his head, said Lt. Chris Spallino.</p><p>Investigators haven't released the man's name because they haven't been able to find his family to give them official notification, Spallino said.</p><p>Deputies arrested the man's domestic partner, Bret Arnold Matz, 46, on Saturday.</p><p>He was arraigned on a murder charge in Sonoma County Superior Court on Tuesday afternoon. He is being held in Sonoma County Jail without bail.</p><p>The death was discovered Friday after Matz turned up at a Monte Rio business and was heard talking about his roommate being dead.
