ClairMail appoints new CEO

NOVATO, Jan 26, 2009 -- ClairMail Inc., a provider of two-way mobile banking and payment solutions, named Peter Daffern as new CEO.

Mr. Daffern, 43, replaces founder and CEO Joe Salesky, who will continue as chairman and chief strategy officer. Prior to joining ClairMail, Mr. Daffern was CEO of customer identity mangagement company Purisma, which was acquired by D&B. Before that he was president of call center performance software company AIM Technology.

“ClairMail has set the gold standard for mobile banking and payments with its 2-way triple play solution and is well-positioned to both drive and capitalize on the market growth in 2009," said Mr. Daffern.

The venture-funded company employs 75 at its headquarters in the Hamilton Landing business park in Novato.
