Woman held in Healdsburg stabbing

A 49-year-old Healdsburg woman is being held on suspicion of attempted murder in the stabbing of her roommate, Healdsburg police said.
A 59-year-old man placed a 911 call at 8:23 p.m. Friday and said he had a "laceration to his neck," according to a police statement.
Officers responded to the man's Lincoln Street address and found that he had been stabbed in the neck. He was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with what were described as severe injuries, but he is expected to survive, police said.

Police found that his roommate and suspected assailant, Patricia Lynn Kirk. four hours later at another residence in Healdsburg. She was taken into custody without incident.
