Suspected DUI in Windsor motorcycle crash

<p>A Windsor man who drove his motorcycle into the rear of a FedEx tractor trailer rig survived the Thursday night crash but suffered severe injuries, Windsor Police said Friday.</p><p>Manuel Aguilar, 26, suffered possible spinal damage as well as facial injuries in the 8:50 p.m. collision on Shiloh Road, police Sgt. Rob Gordon said.</p><p>Aguilar was rushed with critical injuries to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition Friday, a hospital spokeswoman said.</p><p>Gordon said he was expected to live. </p><p>Authorities said Aguilar had a blood alcohol level of 0.21 percent, nearly three times the 0.08 percent level at which one is presumed unfit to drive in California.</p><p>He was traveling east on Shiloh Road, west of Highway 101, as the westbound big rig turned south into a Caletti Road industrial park, Gordon said.</p><p>Aguilar came upon the truck and crashed into the rear of the trailer, police said.</p><p>The incident closed Shiloh Road between Conde Lane and the freeway for about 90 minutes, authorities said.</p><p>It remains under investigation, Gordon said.</p>
