Accounting

Mark Pounds joined Pisenti & Brinker as a manager working primarily in the assurance services and tax departments in the Petaluma office. His clients include insurance and high-tech companies. Mr. Pounds was previously a manager at Bartlett, Pringle & Wolf in Santa Barbara.

Construction

Greg Schram, a project engineer at Adobe Associates, has become LEED-AP certified. Santa Rosa-based Adobe Associates is a civil engineering, land development and surveying firm.

Green

Terry Davis, former president of Summit Bank, joined the board of the Climate Protection Campaign in Sonoma County and serves as treasurer.

WRA, an environmental consulting firm in San Rafael, appointed Tom Fraser as president and Tim DeGraff as senior vice president.
Mr. Fraser has 18 years experience in biological consulting and project management with 14 years as chief operations officer at WRA.
Mr. DeGraff has 10 years consulting experience, with six years at WRA. He will be responsible for overall business development and marketing as well as retain his project management role.
In other news, Mr. Fraser was selected to participate on a panel of architecture, engineering and environmental consulting firm presidents and CEOs and ZweigWhite’s 2009 A/E Marketing Now Summit. The conference will be May 21-22 at the Omni Hotel in San Francisco.

Nonprofits

Buckelew Programs in San Rafael added Marcia Antipa, Deborah McLeran and Pam Romoli to its board of directors.
Ms. Antipa is a broadcast journalist and news writer for KTVU-TV and serves on the marketing and fundraising committees for Buckelew.
Ms. McLeran is a teacher’s assistant at Bacich Elementary School and serves on the Marin/Scapes and fundraising committees.
Ms. Romoli is chief human resources officer for Fireman’s’ Fund and serves on Buckelew’s strategic planning and personnel committees.

MarinSpace, a Marin County organization dedicated to meeting workspace needs for nonprofits, elected Elissa Giambastiani and Deborah Levy to its board.
Ms. Giambastiani was president and CEO of the San Rafael Chamber of Commerce for 18 years until her retirement from that position in 2005.  She is currently secretary of the Marin Workforce Housing Trust board of directors, treasurer of the Marin Convention and Visitors Bureau board of directors and a board member of the League of Women Voters and the School to Career Partnership.  
Ms. Levy recently left her position as president and CEO of Lifehouse after serving for 18 years.  She currently serves on the selection panel for the Hitachi Foundation Yoshiyama Youth Awards based in Washington, D.C., on the board of directors of the Center for Volunteer and Nonprofit Leadership in San Rafael and on the Advisory Board of Dominican University Special Education Department.
