Santa Rosa-based Internet service provider Sonic.net has acquired two small Internet companies.

In one deal, it purchased wireless competitor Pogowave, which provides Internet access to remote parts of Sonoma County using antennas. Sonic.net acquired one employee, about 250 customers, and some wireless infrastructure in the deal.

In the second deal, Sonic.net purchased one of its customers, Humboldt Internet, which re-sold Sonic.net’s DSL service to about 2,500 people in Northern California. The acquisition did not include infrastructure or any employees.

Financial terms of both deals were not disclosed.
