Tina Martin has started a wine marketing consulting business in Santa Rosa. Martin was sales and marketing manager for Flowers Vineyard and Winery, Keller Estate and Hanzell Vineyards. Martin provides advice on luxury brand building, distribution expansion and all aspects of winery sales and marketing.

Artist Bob Nugent has joined the board of directors of Becoming Independent. The Santa Rosa nonprofit provides services to 1,200 people with disabilities. Nugent, a professor emeritus at Sonoma State University, is co-founder and curator of the Imagery Estate Winery Artists program.

Rebecca Valentine has joined Longview Education Associates, a Santa Rosa green building education and consulting firm. She will serve as Program Facilitator on its six-month Green Building Professional Certificate Program, which begins in July.

Gary Dodd, a former Toyota Motor Corp. manufacturing executive, has been named president of global operations at Zap, a Santa Rosa electric vehicle maker. Amos Kazzaz, a former executive with United Airlines, has been named chief operating officer of Zap. The company is attempting to begin volume production of U.S.-built electric vehicles.

Summit State Bank has named Brian Fulkerson as assistant vice president of business development.

Previously, he served as assistant vice president and business development officer for Wells Fargo/Greater Bay Bank.

Wells Fargo Private Client Services announced the addition of Marco Rivera as a Financial Consultant with Wells Fargo Investments in Sonoma County. He has eight years of experience in financial services.

Brenk & Company Insurance Services has moved its offices. It is now located in the Larkfield Business Park, 4853 Old Redwood Highway, in Santa Rosa. The phone number is 526-1195. Ken Brenk and his son, Kevin, specialize in personal insurance and small-business packages.

Bob Ost, a civil engineer who heads Ost Engineering in Santa Rosa, has been named president of the North Coast Chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies. Other officers include Erik Olsborg with BACE Geotechnical, vice president; Tim Reynolds with Miller Pacific Engineering Group, secretary; and Andy Bordessa with Civil Design Consultants, treasurer.

Psychologist Bruce Hiner has recently joined PsychStrategies, a Santa Rosa firm that provides therapy services. He specializes in the treatment of children and adolescents.

Two property managers from Sonoma County have been awarded the Certified Community Association Manager designation. Jacqueline Brummell with Steward Property Services Inc. in Petaluma and Joe Dorsey with Eugene Burger Management Corp. in Rohnert Park earned the designation from the California Association of Community Managers.

A video produced by the Community Media Center of Santa Rosa will receive a Hometown Video Award this year from the Alliance for Community Media. The video highlights the Council on Aging's Meals on Wheels program. The awards honor community media and cable programs that are first aired on public access cable television channels.
