it was so saddening to hear the news you have left us on saturday (ironically I was participating in the relay for life when we received the news) you drastically changed my life and had a huge role in who I am today!!! I know ive told you but never can truly explain what a true hero and mentor you were to me!! The father I never had!!! RIP rohnert park has lost a true Hero but heaven has gained an amazing angel! I will NEVER forget you!! As i am sure mosst of my peers can also say!!!
My prayers go out to your family at home and at RPPD

I have never heard of this officer but obviously he brought pride to his work, honor to himself and his family. Well done sir...and RIP. Those of you inspired or in some way touched by this man's legacy know that when he passed he lives on through the marks he made on your lives and it is yours to carry forward.

My kids are all grown now, and have kids of their own. Officer Friendly made a good impression on both my kids, just by being kind, loving and taking away, at an early age, the fear of police. He also instilled a loving trust in all the younger children. RP has lost a good one, but Heaven makes out. Thanks for all you did while here.
