A 15-year-old Petaluma girl struck by a car in a Sebastopol intersection Friday afternoon remained in critical, but stable condition at Memorial Hospital, her family’s attorney David Rouda said.
The girl, Julia Bertoli, remained in a coma Thursday afternoon. She has shown involuntary reflexes and is fighting a high fever and pneumonia, Rouda said.
Bertoli was struck at about 6 p.m. while in a crosswalk on Healdsburg Avenue, also known as Highway 116, near Florence Avenue. The thoroughfare is the main route through town.
Bertoli was in town with friends headed for the annual July 3 fireworks show at Analy High School.
