90,000 pot plants seized in Mendocino County

Mendocino County Sheriff’s removed more than 90,000 marijuana plants from remote sites throughout the county last week.

The largest grow area was on Fishrock Road where more than 41,700 plants were removed. Nearly 22,000 plants were taken from the Dos Rios Road area and another 27,290 were taken from the Low Gap Indian Creek area. Officials also removed more than 10,500 plants from the Robinson Creek and Boonville areas.

The marijuana was found in remote areas and no suspects were located, according to officials.
