Busy weekend of DUI arrests in Sonoma County

<p>Sonoma County highway patrol officers made 20 arrests of drivers suspected of drunken driving over the weekend, the CHP reported Monday.</p><p>Two suspected drunken drivers drivers were arrested after causing collisions. The first occurred at 3:30 a.m. Sunday on Bohemian Highway in Camp Meeker, Officer Jon Sloat said.</p><p>The driver of that car, Meghann Kavanagh, 29, of Guerneville, drove off the highway near Market Street, Sloat said.</p><p>She was not injured.</p><p>A second suspected DUI collision was reported at 9:24 p.m. Sunday on Canyon 2 Road, north of River Road.</p><p>Billy Jo Phenix, 29, of Rio Nido, was involved in a minor collision with another car, Sloat said.</p><p>He was not injured.</p><p>Of the 20 drivers arrested on suspicion of DUI, 13 were also suspected of driving without a valid drivers’ license and three were suspected of violating probation, said Sloat.</p>
