A woman killed Monday night in a Santa Rosa crash has been identified as Kathleen O’Daniel of Rohnert Park.
The CHP said O’Daniel was driving a Honda Civic on Llano Road near Ludwig Avenue when a Jeep being driven by a Santa Rosa woman crossed over the center line and the vehicles hit head-on.
O’Daniel was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which occurred at 5:20 p.m.
The driver of the other vehicle, Judy Shafer, was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries.
The CHP said Shafer was arrested on suspicion of felony driving under the influence and vehicular manslaughter.
O’Daniel’s teen-age daughter, who was not identified by the CHP, also suffered major injuries in the crash.
