A funeral mass for Richard J. Capella will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 35 Liberty St. Mr. Capella died on Sept. 17, 2009. He was 77.

Mr. Capella is survived by his wife of 53 years, Suzanne Capella; sons, Richard, Gregory and Mark; siblings, Jacamino Capella, Gloria Volonte, Elvezia Mettraux and Marilena Zimmerman, all residing in Switzerland; grandchildren; and step-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brothers, Americo and Enrico, and his sister, Norma Volk.
