Mendocino County jail inmate's death investigated

The Mendocino County District Attorney's Office is investigating the death of a county jail inmate.

The death was reported as an apparent suicide and investigators from the District Attorney's Office are heading the case.

The person, who wasn't identified, died Friday morning, according to a brief press release on the death.
