A Sonoma County jury Friday found a Cotati man guilty of 46 felony counts of sexual misconduct with a 9-year-old girl who he photographed in the making of pornography.
The verdict exposes George Clair, 37, to more than 70 years in prison for acts that occurred in 2008, partly in a trailer on the grounds of a Cotati towing company where he worked.
Judge Julie Conger set sentencing for Dec. 17.
The verdict came after about a day of deliberation in a trial that spanned nearly two weeks.
The victim, now 10 years old and a relative of Clair's, took the stand Wednesday, describing how Clair made her pose nude and perform sex acts with him.
Among the counts was a guilty verdict on a charge of oral copulation and sexual penetration with a child under 10, which alone carries a sentence of 15 years to life in prison.
Clair was arrested in 2008 after an investigation sparked by a tip from the Internet provider AOL to the Virginia-based National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
