A Rohnert Park man suspected of participating in a attempted homicide in Lake County was arrested Tuesday morning at his home in a three-agency SWAT team operation.

Joshua Isaac Wandrey, 35, was taken into custody without incident on a $250,000 warrant, said Rohnert Park Lt. Jeff Taylor.

Wandrey was wanted in connection with an Oct. 20 marijuana robbery and attack at a Lakeport home. The victim in that case was beaten and shot twice before being left hog-tied on the ground in front of his home, according to Lake County sheriff’s officials.

A Fulton man already has been arrested in connection with the case. A Lake County detectives’ investigation pointed to Wandrey as another suspect and they contacted Rohnert Park police for help.

Because Rohnert Park doesn’t have a SWAT team, the Sonoma County sheriff’s team was included, Taylor said.

Officers from the three agencies Tuesday morning briefly closed Adrian Drive and contacted Wandrey at his home there, Taylor said.
