Undercover Sebastopol police officers working Saturday at the annual Harvest Dance and Celebration arrested a man who offered to sell them marijuana, police reported.

Chet Alan Jenkins, 39, of Santa Rosa allegedly was selling marijuana, concentrated cannabis and marijuana-laced food, reported police.

He was at a festival Saturday at the Sebastopol Community Center. The 11th annual event was a benefit for Americans for Safe Access and advocated for medical marijuana and an opportunity for the local and regional medical cannabis community to unite in a joint effort of celebration, education and accomplishment, according to its Website.

Jenkins was on probation in Sonoma County for a prior conviction of driving under the influence. Selling the marijuana also violated his probation.

He told officers he also goes to parties to sell his drugs, police reported.

A search of his home turned up three pounds of bulk marijuana, marijuana packaged for sale and concentrated cannabis, as well as evidence of cultivation.

He remained in jail Monday in lieu of $45,000 bail.
