Cathleen Evans

<p>Native Petaluman Cathleen Evans died on Oct. 30, 2009 at her home in Marshall. She was 88.</p><!-- Nothing to do. The paragraph has already been output --><p>Ms. Evans started her nursing career in Petaluma. In 1950, she and her family moved to Marshall where she and husband, Harold Evans, owned and operated the Tomales Bay Boat Shop. </p><p>Missing her days as a caregiver, she continued her nursing career in Point Reyes Station. </p><p>In retirement, she enjoyed hiking, camping and fishing with her friends and family.</p><p>She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Harold Evans; children, Dan Evans, Jerry Evans and Cathy Rogers; brother, Fred Volkerts; grandchildren; nieces; and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Georgina Evans and Wilbur Volkerts. </p><p>Per her request, there will be no services.</p>
