Quake hits north of Santa Rosa

A magnitude 2.5 earthquake struck Thursday afternoon in the Larkfield-Wikiup area north of Santa Rosa.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the 3:12 p.m. temblor's epicenter was 1 mile north-northeast of Larkfield. A USGS map placed the epicenter in the hills above Larkfield-Wikiup.

Some residents reported a slight bump, but there were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
