Body ID'd as that of homeless man, 57

<p>A homeless man found dead at his encampment near the Russian River in Hopland late Friday afternoon was identified as 57-year-old Charles Giacolini, authorities said.</p><p>Hopland firefighters found the man dead around 4:30 p.m. Friday after civilians alerted authorities.</p><p>There were no signs of foul play. The cause of death was not available.</p><p>Emergency personnel recognized the man from previous contacts in the Cloverdale area, but it appeared he had lived in the encampment for a lengthy period, authorities said.</p><p>-- Glenda Anderson</p>
