Serious injuries in head-on crash

<p>Two people were seriously injured Thursday morning in a head-on vehicle crash just outside of Sonoma, according to the California Highway Patrol.</p><p>Few details were available Thanksgiving morning because officers were still on the scene and no reports had been written, said CHP Officer Randall Wayne.</p><p>He said a woman in one of the vehicles suffered major injuries. She was airlifted to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, he said.</p><p>Another person was taken by ambulance to a hospital, possibly the same one, Wayne said.</p><p>The accident was reported at 7:58 a.m. and occurred on Arnold Drive at Orange Avenue, he said.</p><p>It involved a Honda and a Ford pickup but he did not know which one crossed over the center line, causing the crash.</p><p>Additional information is expected to be released later Thursday.</p>
