Wells Fargo & Co. has named James S. Kimball as regional senior vice president of its North Coast Regional Commercial Banking Office. He succeeds Michael Sullivan, who is joining the company's Global Financial Institutions group. A lifetime resident of Sonoma County, Kimball most recently served as a regional sales manager for Wells Fargo. In his new role, Kimball will oversee a team of 17 commercial banking managers in a territory that stretches from the Golden Gate Bridge to the Oregon border.

Jay Wright has been named president of Constellation Wines North America. He succeeds Jose F. Fernandez, who has taken a leave of absence due to medical reasons. Previously, Wright served as president of Vincor Canada, which was acquired by Constellation in 2006. It owns numerous North Coast fine wine brands, including Clos Du Bois in Geyserville, Ravenswood in Sonoma, Simi in Healdsburg and Robert Mondavi in Napa.
Bank of Marin has named Augie Acuna to manage two of its three Petaluma branches. He will replace Faith Giosso, who was promoted to branch operations manager and will now be based out of the Novato headquarters. Acuna will split duties between the North McDowell and Marina locations. Before joining Bank of Marin, Acuna worked for Wells Fargo Bank as a personal banker and Sonoma Bank as a branch manager.
Two local architects and two allied business professionals have formed STRATAap, a strategic design studio based in Sonoma. Its services include architecture, planning, interiors, construction management and brand development.
The principals are David Rapp, an architect with over 30 years experience in programming, design, project and construction management; Bennett Martin, who has specialized over the last 20 years on project and construction management; Brad Johnson, an architect who has been design lead and project manager on civic, retail and residential projects; and Greg Donald, who has over 30 years experience in strategic planning, brand development and design for corporate, retail and automotive clients.
Elissa Morrash has been hired as an agent at Prudential California Realty in Healdsburg. Morrash is CEO of her own marketing communications firm and former vice president of marketing at Christopherson Homes.
Judy Farrell has been appointed to the board of directors of Redwood Empire Food Bank. Farrell, assistant director of the University of San Francisco campus in downtown Santa Rosa, also volunteers with the Southwest Community Health Center and iWALK Steering Committee.
The Valley of the Moon Children's Home Foundation has named Laura Colgate president of its board of directors and Marcy Smothers vice president. Both women have served for many years on the board of the nonprofit foundation, which works to improve the lives of neglected, abused and abandoned children in Sonoma County.
Gene Bonino, a Sebastopol real estate agent with Prudential California Realty sales team Bonino and Brown, has been appointed to the board of directors for the Sonoma County Repertory Theater. His partner, Will Brown, has been named treasurer of Food For Thought, the Sonoma County AIDS Food Bank.
