It's finals week for area students

<p>High school students throughout Sonoma County are preparing for final exams this week in the last days before the two-week winter break.</p><p>Shortened days mark the testing season as most students are released around 12:30 p.m. during final exams.</p><p>Santa Rosa City Schools students, as well as those who attend Sonoma Valley High, are off Friday and don't return to class until Monday, Jan. 4.</p><p>In Petaluma, students are taking finals at Petaluma and Casa Grande high schools Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. They return to school on Tuesday, Jan. 5.</p><p>Windsor High students are off Friday and return to school Jan. 5.</p><p>Analy and El Molino have testing on Friday and then are off for two weeks, returning to class Jan. 4.</p><p>Students at Rancho Cotate High have class all week and return to campus Jan. 4. Students there will take their finals on Jan. 19, 20 and 21.</p>
