Sebastopol police have identified two teenagers as additional suspects in a recent drive-by shooting.
Sgt. Ken Troutfetter said Tuesday that a 17-year-old male and a 16-year-old female were with two others in the car during the Dec. 8 shooting near downtown.
One man was hit by shotgun pellets from the blast. He was treated for wounds and released.
Two suspects arrested last week have been arraigned in court on charges of attempted murder. The two new suspects haven't been taken into custody pending a decision by the District Attorney's Office on possible charges, Troutfetter said.
The four suspects are from Sebastopol and students at either Analy High School or the adjacent Laguna High School in downtown Sebastopol, he said.
Officers still were working on what led to the shooting. A black Scion was driven into the Sebastopol Veterans Memorial Building parking lot at about 3:15 p.m. Dec. 8.
Police believe a 17-year-old who has been charged fired a sawed-off shotgun at a crowd gathered on a lawn. One suspect is an adult, 18-year-old Alexander Protasieff.
