A Petaluma woman and five San Francisco residents were injured in a Valley Ford car crash, the CHP said Sunday.
All were transported to local hospitals, some with major injuries, CHP Sgt. Jeff Abrams said.
Jaqueline Formanek, 51, of Petaluma was southbound on Bloomfield Road early Saturday when she turned onto Valley Ford Road in front of a Nissan pickup driven by Fuk Keung Yeung, 63 of San Francisco, Abrams said.
Yeung broadsided Formanek's Ford pickup, which flipped onto its roof, Abrams said.
Yeung's truck did not turnover, he said.
Injured in Yeung's pickup were Fun Lin Chac, 69; Chan Si Sun, 75; Kent Ruan, 55; and Yui Man Louie, 70.
Formanek and Sun suffered major injuries, but they were not considered life-threatening.
