A crash on Highway 101 in Santa Rosa Sunday afternoon closed an off-ramp for two hours and landed a driver suspected of drunken driving in jail, the CHP reported.

Driver Francisco Morales Castillo, 24, of Santa Rosa, was driving a 2003 GMC Envoy north on Highway 101 just before 2 p.m. when he took the off-ramp at Bicentennial Way.

Castillo lost control and flipped the vehicle, the CHP reported.

It landed on its side on the off-ramp’s east shoulder. Crews closed the connector roadway for about two hours to clear the wreckage and investigate.

A passenger in the car, who was only identified as a 25-year-old male, suffered minor injuries. Castillo reportedly wasn’t injured.

Officers arrested Castillo. He was taken to jail and released after posting bail.
