North Bay drying out after latest storm

Monday's storm, the last in a series over nine days, ended the run with impressive rainfall totals and left a few roads still flooded early Tuesday with standing water.
The latest storm tapered off overnight and headed south. While a few showers were due Tuesday in the North Bay, Wednesday and Thursday were expected to be dry.
Standing water continued to flood a few west county roads, including Valley Ford Road between Bloomfield Road and Highway 1 and Valley Ford-Freestone Road, the CHP reported.
Anapolis Road, near Sea Ranch on the North Coast, had a rock slide early Tuesday as well as a tree down, reported the CHP.
Rainfall from 7 a.m. Monday to 7 a.m. Tuesday in numerous spots around Sonoma County showed close to two inches of rain or more in several areas, according to reports filed by volunteer weather watchers with the National Weather Service.
Cloverdale reported 1.88 inches, Healdsburg had 2.82, Windsor had 1.62 in one neighborhood and 1.35 in another. Santa Rosa had .95 inches in one spot and 1.28 inches in another.
Geyserville collected 2.19 inches, Graton had 1.47, Duncans Mills had 2.14 inches and Rohnert Park had .57.
In Mendocino County, Ukiah had 1.66 inches, Willits had 2.3 inches and two people living in Redwood Valley reported they collected 1.94 and 1.43 inches.
In Lakeport, 1.76 inches was reported.
