Police plan two DUI checkpoints for Friday

<p>The Petaluma Police Department will be conducting two DUI and driver's license checkpoints on Friday, April 2.</p><!-- Nothing to do. The paragraph has already been output --><p>The locations and times of the checkpoints are not being disclosed in advance, said Sgt. Ken Savano.</p><p>These operations are being conducted to raise awareness of impaired driving by educating motorists, as well as arresting impaired drivers and those driving without a license or with a suspended license. Funding for these operations is being provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.</p>
