87-year-old Santa Rosa man suspected of molesting kids

<p>Santa Rosa police detectives arrested an 87-year-old Santa Rosa man suspected of molesting children in his neighborhood.</p><p>Jose Rosalio Avila of Santa Rosa remained in custody Monday morning in lieu of $400,000 bail.</p><p>Detectives last week began investigating reports of children being molested who live in the 1700 block of Petaluma Hill Road, Sgt. Steve Fraga said. </p><p>On Thursday they arrested Avila at his home on suspicion of four counts of committing lewd acts on a child.</p><p>Fraga asked anyone with information to contact sex crime detectives at 543-3595.</p><p>- Randi Rossmann</p>
